Welcome to Paddle UK RapidJoin. The quick way to gain Paddle UK membership so you can kick off your career in paddling.

This service is for new individual English or non-UK members only. If you are a lapsed or renewing member of Paddle UK, or if you require a couples or family membership, then please use the British Canoeing membership portal here.

If you live in Northern Ireland please join through the Paddle Northern Ireland website here. If you live in Scotland join using the Paddle Scotland website here. Finally, if you live in Wales please join using the Canoe Wales website here.

The membership you will purchase is On The Water membership. It includes a waterways licence for England and Wales and public liability insurance, among other benefits. You will be asked your date of birth and allocated the correct membership type for your age. Prices are:

Individual Adult (Over 23) - £60
Young Person (18-22) - £47
Youth (Under 18) - £37

What is Paddles Up Training?

Paddles Up Training provide and support the development of paddlers to achieve their goals. We were established June 2020 and were formerly branded the Paddle UK Delivery Centre.

As such we have over 40 years’ experience of providing paddlesports training and qualifications. We are the largest provider of British Canoeing Awarding Body Qualifications and Awards.

We are also the largest provider of informal training opportunities through our provision of Webinars and Regional Development opportunities.

What do we offer?

Our support ranges from personal skills, safety and knowledge development through to your development to become an Instructor, Leader Coach or Guide. And it doesn’t stop there!

We firmly believe that learning is a lifelong journey. We offer a range of options for you to continue your development and a range of options that support you as your paddling moves to the next chapter.
