Welcome to Paddle UK RapidJoin. The quick way to gain Paddle UK membership so you can kick off your career in paddling.

This service is for new individual English or non-UK members only. If you are a lapsed or renewing member of Paddle UK, or if you require a couples or family membership, then please use the British Canoeing membership portal here.

If you live in Northern Ireland please join through the Paddle Northern Ireland website here. If you live in Scotland join using the Paddle Scotland website here. Finally, if you live in Wales please join using the Canoe Wales website here.

The membership you will purchase is On The Water membership. It includes a waterways licence for England and Wales and public liability insurance, among other benefits. You will be asked your date of birth and allocated the correct membership type for your age. Prices are:

Individual Adult (Over 23) - £60
Young Person (18-22) - £47
Youth (Under 18) - £37

Your Polo Perform Award will give you a greater understanding of the skills and equipment required for an enjoyable game of Polo. As a result you will delve deeper into the techniques and tactics that will begin to improve your game.

Working with your Coach you will tailor your programme to you, focusing on areas to develop making you a more competent Polo player in both training and competition.

You will continue to develop your decision-making skills.

Every day you spend playing in Polo boats expands your skills and knowledge, as a result you will get a more enjoyable experience on the water. With no two experiences ever the same, you never stop learning. Continually evaluating our skills creates a natural evolution of ability.

If your new to Polo but have an understanding of kayaking you could consider the Polo Explore Award

Maybe you think you already have the skills and knowledge of the Perform Polo Award, for that reason you could consider the Polo Excel Award.

You will expand on some previous knowledge of Polo and environmental awareness to choose a suitable location for the session and the kit available. You will then delve further into the skills, technical aspects of play as well as the rules of the game.

Teamwork
During and After the Session
Future Development

There is no formal assessment for the Polo Perform Award. Your Coach will empower you to review your progress and to identify where next. When you are at the appropriate level of skill and understanding, you will be certificated for the Polo Perform Award.
